Testimonials

I’m Russian, from Moscow. The purpose of my enrollment in school is to study the language for free communication with Japanese people, reading literature, and watching films in Japanese, as well as the opportunity to find a job in Japan. The school has amazing teachers. They are kind, responsive, always ready to help on various issues, including everyday life in the country. As they say, people make a place good. The school program is intensive, helping you understand speech and quickly integrate into everyday life in the city. Fukuoka is a wonderful city, beautiful, green, and not noisy. There are many interesting places both in the city and beyond. The views of sunsets against the sea are simply magnificent. The people here are polite, and the food is very tasty. I have never regretted choosing this city. Show More

My purpose of study is to improve my Japanese language skills to study Japanese arts and culture. The school is very sincere with a demanding study intensity. After a period of adaptation, I appreciated the straightforward system. The teachers are brilliant as they explain even complex topics with humor and in an easy-to-comprehend manner. The assistance takes care of personal needs, and I always felt they sincerely care for their students. Fukuoka is a very convenient place to study. Everything can be found here, yet it is more relaxed and easier to live in than Tokyo and Osaka. Prices are lower, interesting places, nature, and beaches are within closer reach, and I always feel welcomed by the local citizens. Show More

My name is Teddy. I am from France. I enrolled IROHA in July 2023. In the hope of entering a university in Japan and improving my Japanese proficiency, I decided to enroll in this school. This school is compared to other similar schools, nearly an institution that can provide a higher level of education. I really enjoy learning how to write Kanji and mastering them. Fukuoka is a city with a lot of opportunities for work and tourism. The living cost here is lower than in other similar big cities. Show More

I love how friendly all the staff at Iroha are and I am really grateful to have received a lot of help and support from them since enrolling here. Study here has allowed me to get to know people from other countries as well and I was able to create unique memories with them. I love the nature in Fukuoka. We do not have ponds, mountains and rivers in Bahrain, so coming here I was mesmerized by the beauty that this prefecture is filled with. I also love the deep history that is in Fukuoka, whether it is religious artifacts, food history or art. While studying at Iroha Japanese Language School, I learn something new about Fukuoka and Japan every day. Show More

I love Japanese culture, so I wanted to move to Japan. But in Japan not many people speak English, so I wanted to learn the language while living in Japan, which is how I found Iroha Japanese Language School. The school is in a convenient location, close to the station and convenience stores. The teachers are very kind and always happy to explain a bit more. Fukuoka is a very lively place with lots of different people. It is easy to talk with people, even if your Japanese is not that good yet. And there is a lot of tasty food! Show More

I wanted to learn Japanese because I love the culture and it has always been my dream to understand more about Japan. At Iroha Japanese Language School, I love how teachers take the time and really try to explain everything to you if you need it. The teachers show genuine concern and care for us. The lessons are very good, sometimes hard because of the volume, but it's totally worth it. Fukuoka is an amazing city, the people are incredible and the food is the best here. I love my traditional food, but here I have not missed it, because the food available is just so good. The city has some amazing spots with a lot of nature and parks. The sea is so close that you can just walk there and see an incredible view. Show More
